The ceramic “figurines” often represent basic feelings and archetypal energies that we experience as humans, such as joy, openness, sadness, loneliness, etc.
This golden “Equinox series” was created during the moment in the cycle of the seasons when day and night are in perfect balance; the spring equinox. In the installation I explore equanimity. The observing state of consciousness of man in which physical sensations, thoughts and emotions come and go. Each sculpture is unique in its emotion.
